Review of: Mad Crab the
Well, went there for a late lunch while on vacation following the advice of the woman at the information kiosk.
The service was good and the view was great. The seafood mix was good; lots of fresh mussels, but didn't have all the items that was described on the menu (no fish,etc... just mussels, shrimp, and a couple of snow crab legs). The salmon dish was just okay... could have been anywhere and nothing special. The big disappointment was the salad (crab louis). At a restaurant right...

Review of: Mad Crab the
My husband & I wanted to take a drive to the north end of Whidbey Island this last Sunday, and ended up in Coupeville. I punched in local restaurants on my iPhone, and found this site. Well, after reviewing the first two reviews, we decided to take our chances and have a looksey for ourselves, even if just for the entertainment value alone.
Well, I'm happy to say, I'm not sure where those others ate, but the Mad Crab we went to was wonderful, very clean and charming. Our
waitress was sweet...

Review of: Knead & Feed Restaurant
I have eaten at the Knead and Feed for over 30 years. They serve great home made soups, sandwiches, cinnamon rolls (forget about Cinnabon), pies and salads. They have recently added breakfasts. When I travel to Coupeville, which is often, because I have a cabin on Whidbey I ALWAYS eat at the Knead and Feed. They make a Pastrami on the dark rye, which is to dye for. This restaurant is by far my favorite lunch place.
